About the Logo

Logo of Al Ghurair

Green is life. Abundant in nature, green signifies growth, renewal, health, and the environment. Green is the national color of Pakistan. Green also has close associations with Islam. With both a warming and cooling effect, the color green denotes balance, harmony, and stability.

Moreover, Gold is a cousin to yellow (and orange and brown). Gold is the color of riches and extravagance. The color gold shares many of the attributes. It is a warm color that can be bright and cheerful as well as somber and traditional. Because gold is a precious metal, the color gold is associated with wealth and prosperity. Gold also suggests grandeur.

The logo was designed to represent the company’s philosophy. In the logo, the color gold represents Al Ghurair Giga and the green represents Pakistan and the nation. The idea of the knot between green and gold is reinforcing the link and commitment of Al Ghurair Giga towards the prestigious people of Pakistan.
